“You’re an excellent leader” – Osafo-Maafo Heaps Praises On Bawumia’s as head of Economic Management Team.

Senior Minister Yaw Osafo-Maafo has heaped praises on Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia for his professionally excellent and sterling qualities as chairman of Ghana’s Economic Management Team(EMT), concluding that the progress so far is as a result of the exceptional leadership of Dr. Bawumia.

Mr. Osafo-Maafo stated that even though Dr. Bawumia is the chairman of the EMT, he takes interest in whatever other members do, and exhibits leadership that has ensured the effectiveness and efficiency of the EMT.

He, therefore, extended heartfelt gratitude to Dr Bawumia for his type of leadership.

“I want all of us here to, and on behalf of my colleagues, say a very big thank-you to the type of leadership the EMT (Economic Management Team) has enjoyed from Dr. Bawumia. A chairman who is so involved in the work of [everyone else]. He works like a member, like a secretary. Sterling quality! Professionally excellent! So we are where we are because Dr Bawumia is putting up a very professional chairmanship to the EMT. And I pray that we continue to work together as a team,” he said in a video sighted by MyNewsGh.com.

Dr. Bawumia has been chairman of the EMT since 2017 and has also been at the forefront of the digitization of various revenue sectors to prevent revenue leakages to the national kitty.
