We don’t have money in our pockets and you’re talking ‘shit’ – angry Odike fires Akufo-Addo

The 2020 presidential candidate of the United Progressive Party (UPP), Akwasi Addai Odike, has said in an interview on Pure FM morning drive that President Akufo-Addo is not serious because he went speaking about toilets in his State of the Nation Address when Ghanaians are broke.

According to Odike, the President’s state of the nation address clearly reveals that he doesn’t have any better plans for Ghanaians and doesn’t care about what happens to the average Ghanaian.

“He doesn’t think of Ghanaians. Does he believe we’re interested in long addresses? He didn’t address the pressing needs of people in this country. Ghanaians are crying. There’s no money in the system. Ghana is sinking financially and the president says he has built toilets and will continue to build more? That’s uninspiring, to say the least”, he lamented

According to him, the President should have addressed ‘very sensitive areas of the economy not toilets. I mean how? His address paints little resemblance of what pertains in Ghana today”

“However, judging by the President’s address it was clear that President Akufo-Addo is “out of touch with the country he is governing, his leadership has failed to proffer solution to the creeping needs of Ghanaians ”, he pointed out.
