Video: NPP’s Abronye DC storms cemetery; curses accusers over 500 missing excavators

The Bono regional chairman of the ruling New Patriotic Party, Kwame Baffoe, widely known as Abronye DC, has caused a stir in a new video.

In the video sighted by Ghana News Punch, the firebrand NPP man was seen clad in black attire and was at the cemetery with the intention of cursing all those accusing him of having a hand in the missing excavators.

This follows news of a list purported to contain names of party personnel who received some of the 500 seized excavators in government’s fight against galamsey.

Abronye DC indicated that he had not received any excavator and entreated Ghanaians to treat the said list with the contempt it deserved.

“I deem it important to note that, since the NPP assumed power in 2017, I have not been awarded any road contract nor a mining concession or whatsoever and for that matter, I do not even find any importance of needing an excavator,” the outspoken NPP executive said.

On that score, he went to the cemetery to rain curses on all those tagging him as a beneficiary of the missing excavators.

“Those peddling these unsubstantiated lies against me, may the gods of thunder strike them down if they do not stop and on the other hand if I am in any way connected to the missing excavator saga, may same god’s strike me down,” he said as he poured libation.

He went on to indicate that the accusation was an attempt by his detractors to put a dent on his hard earned reputation but he was not going to sit back and do nothing.
