Secretary Marco Rubio Embarks on Diplomatic Tour to Germany, Israel, Saudi Arabia, and UAE

Washignton D.C – U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio is set to embark on a diplomatic tour from February 13 to 18, engaging with key international partners to discuss pressing global issues. His visit will include stops in Germany, Israel, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

The trip will begin in Munich, Germany, where Secretary Rubio will attend the Munich Security Conference. During this event, he will engage in discussions with global leaders on U.S. foreign policy priorities, security cooperation, and emerging geopolitical challenges. He will also participate in the G7 Foreign Ministers’ Meeting, reinforcing Washington’s commitment to working closely with allied nations.

Following his engagements in Germany, Secretary Rubio will travel to Israel, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE from February 15 to 18. His discussions with senior officials will focus on regional stability, security cooperation, and diplomatic efforts to advance peace. A key priority will be the release of American and other hostages held by Hamas, as well as the advancement of Phase II of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza. Additionally, Secretary Rubio will work with regional leaders to counter the destabilizing activities of Iran and its proxy groups.

This diplomatic mission underscores the U.S. government’s commitment to fostering global security, strengthening alliances, and supporting regional peace efforts in the Middle East.
