According to a report on Ghgossip.com, Prof. Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang who served as the running mate for John Mahama in the just-ended presidential race is reported to have resigned from her position in the NDC party succeeding John Mahama’s ill-famed defeat.

The academician is said to have tendered in her quitting letter to officials of the party just this morning.

Rumours also have it that this move was marked by her decision to resume her previous post as the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Cape Coast (UCC).

From what we have gathered, Prof. Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang has moved all her belongings to Cape Coast to resume work as the vice-chancellor of the University of Cape Coast despite the fact that the university Council has as at August 2020 appointed Professor Johnson Nyarko Boampong as a substantive Vice-Chancellor of the university for a 4-year term.
