Only Asantehene Can Stop Me From Suing – Sticka Fights late Samuel Aboagye’s Family Over Paternity Claims

The Member of Parliament for Nhyiaeso, Hon. Stephen Amoah, popularly known as ‘Sticka’, has issued a stern warning of legal action against the family of the late Samuel Aboagye over allegations that he is the biological father of the deceased’s daughter.

The NPP legislator has vehemently denied the claims, stating they have severely damaged his hard-earned reputation.

Speaking in an interview on Accra-based Okay FM, Hon. Amoah revealed that he has instructed his lawyers to pursue the matter and ensure those spreading what he calls “false information” are held accountable. He expressed his determination to clear his name, stating that no one, except the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, can persuade him to drop the lawsuit.

“I have decided that I will hand everything over to my lawyers. I will not listen to any pleas from anyone,” Hon. Amoah stated. “I have been in politics for the past 30 years, and everyone who knows me knows that I will not do this.”

He challenged the basis of the allegations, suggesting a DNA test to prove the truth. “What you are doing is very dangerous because we can subject ourselves to a DNA test to check the veracity of what you are saying,” he declared.

The MP acknowledged knowing the child’s mother several years ago but denied any recent contact or relationship. “I knew the lady seven years ago. I have not seen her in that long while, and I don’t even know her husband,” he explained.

He recounted that he only reconnected with her after her husband’s death to attend the funeral, a visit he said was brief.

Hon. Amoah accused the family of using him as a scapegoat in their internal disputes. “If the father of the child is dead and you people want to cheat them and take the properties, that is fine, but don’t do that to the detriment of my reputation.”

He concluded with a final ultimatum, emphasizing the gravity of his resolve: “I won’t listen to the president. Apart from Otumfuo, no one on earth can stop me. I will deal drastically with them. They cannot destroy my reputation.”
