Kelvin Boy arrested for beating baby mama with iron rod
Musician Kelvin Boy arrested: News received by Accra Mail confirms that Ghanaian hiplife artiste Kelvin Boy born Kelvin Brown has been arrested by Adenta Divisional Police Unit and has been remanded in their custody until Wednesday 23rd February 2022 for a court trial.
Reports from GHPage reveal that Kelvin boy who is currently in a relationship with a lady whose name is yet to be known and has two kids with her has for a long time been abusing her physically. According to the report, the musician’s baby mama reported him to the Adenta Police Station after he [Kelvin Boy] went overboard with the abuse. He was then arrested and directly sent to Adenta Circuit Court.
The prosecution alleged that Kelvin has turned his girlfriend into a punching bag and has physically been abusing her despite the two kids they both have together. Prior to his arrest, his baby mama took one of their kids who was sick to Kelvin’s house to ask for money to take the kid to the hospital. Upon arriving at the house, she saw Kelvin Boy’s car coming out and thought it was her boyfriend so she approached the car, she then found that it was another lady who was driving the car so she tried to find out what she was doing in her boyfriend’s car. Kelvin after hearing the chaotic noise came out and when he saw his baby mama, he jumped on her and beat her mercilessly using an iron rod. The report also alleged that he went to the baby mama’s store and took away some items including a television. This forced his baby mama to report him to the police.
The judge after hearing the prosecution asked that Kelvin Boy be kept in police custody until Wednesday 23rd February 2022 for the trial.
