KNUST 2020/2021 Admission of Candidates to BSc. Top-Up Programmes in General Nursing and Midwifery.

The College of Health Sciences, Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, Department of Nursing at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology KNUST is accepting applications from suitably qualified applicants for admission into BSc. Top-up programmes at the following Centres of Excellence.

  1. Nursing and Midwifery Training College, Berekum – BSc. General Nursing and BSc. Midwifery
  2. Nursing and Midwifery Training College, Kumasi – BSc. General Nursing
  3. Midwifery Training School, Bolgatanga – BSc. Midwifery

Entry Requirements

  1. BSc. General Nursing Programme

Applicants must:

  • hold a Diploma in General Nursing with a good pass and have at least TWO (2) years of working experience post National Service Rotation
  • be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council with active PIN/and in good standing
  • have aggregate 24 or better in WASSCE/SSSCE or successfully completed the KNUST ACCESS programme
  1. BSc. Midwifery

Applicants must:

  • hold a Diploma in Midwifery with a good pass and have at least TWO (2) years of working experience post National Service Rotation
  • be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council with active PIN/and in good standing
  • have aggregate 24 or better in WASSCE/SSSCE or successfully completed the KNUST ACCESS programme

Mode of Application

  • Applicants must purchase an e-Voucher at the Ghana Post Company Ltd
  • The e-Voucher contains Login ID or an application ID, and PIN that will grant access to the online admission portal.
  • Applicants should then proceed to the online admissions portal (Here!) and begin the application process.
  • Once the process has been completed, applicants must print out Two (2) copies of the completed online application form together with all relevant documents (Photocopies of Certificates and transcripts) which should be submitted by post (EMS/DHL/UPS/FEDEX) to the Deputy Registrar (Academic Affairs), KNUST, Kumasi.
  • Applicants are to MARK their envelopes with the inscription ‘CENTRES OF EXCELLENCE’.

Application e-voucher cost: GH¢ 220.00

Deadline for the submission of application forms is Friday, 17th April, 2020.
