Joyce Bawa’s recent pretentious love for Otiko Djaba is very surprising

Let me use this anecdotal story to describe the hypocrisy of Joyce Bawah Mogtari and the sort of relationship that exists between her and her elder sister, Otiko Afisa Djaba.

Joyce Bawah typifies a man in my town, deceased, (Derma) back in the days. There was no love lost between him and his elder brother. For years, they were not on speaking terms.

One day, the unfortunate happened as the elder sibling walked the road to the life hereafter (died). Come and see Robb-induced tears in the younger brother’s eyes as they cascaded down his cheeks. But for the fact that many people knew the poor relationship between the two, he would have been mistaken to have been the most affected relative.

Joyce Bawah Mogtari, the sister of the former Gender Minister, Otiko Afisa Djaba, says President Akufo-Addo unfairly treated the retired politician by reshuffling her to go to Italy as Ghana’s Ambassador. I have already dealt with that baseless argument she made in an earlier piece.

Joyce is shedding crocodile tears. For years, she has not been on speaking terms with her elder sibling. When her party people were always tormenting Otiko, Joyce had had her voice kidnapped by some strange being so she could not go to her defense.

She is now crying more than the bereaved. Till today, the strained relationship between Joyce Bawah and Otiko has not been resolved but she is now weeping over her ‘plight’.

The sleeping dogs are not willing to wake up so she should let them be. She should leave Otiko alone with her pretentious love for her.
