It’s not the best time to write your WASSCE but good luck – John Mahama to students

Not the best time to write your WASSCE but good luck: Former President John Dramani Mahama has wished the final year Free Senior High School students all the best of luck as they start their exit exams today.

Taking to his official social media page to wish them luck, he wrote that although it’s not the best of times to write their exams due to COVID-19, he believes they will make the entire nation and their families proud.

Former President Mahama said “Best wishes to our gallant WASSCE candidates who are beginning their exams today. This is certainly not the best of times to sit for an exit examination, but bear in mind that you have made yourself, your parents, and the entire nation proud for your outstanding courage to write at this time.”

He opined that Ghana, over the years has been known for producing the best WASSCE results in West Africa and believes this year’s batch of Free SHS students will make it.

The former President said, “Ghana has for successive years been known and celebrated for producing the best WASSCE results in West Africa, and that is why, you, even before stepping into the examination hall, are already our heroes. Nothing can change that.”

He assured them of his prayers and that of over 30 million Ghanaians will be with them every single day until the examinations are over.

Former President Mahama advised the students to stick to the COVID-19 safety protocols during and after their exams to contain the spread of the virus.
