I’ll transform Ghana, I have been there and I’ve learnt my lessons – John Mahama

The former president of the Republic of Ghana and the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has stated that he has plans to transform the nation.

In a Facebook post, the former president indicated that he has learnt his lessons and is he coming back to lay a solid foundation for the development of Ghana.

According to John Dramani Mahama, he has the experience and is hopeful that his practical strategy will improve the lives of Ghanaians.

The former president wrote on Facebook; “I have been there, I have experienced it, I have learnt useful lessons, I have reviewed issues and events, and I am coming back to you, together with my party, the NDC, with what will be a practical strategy for laying a solid foundation for the transformation of our country.

This manifesto will be different. It will be a manifesto that will be the conclusion of a long, detailed and consultative process involving broad interactions with our people, incorporating their concerns, their hopes and their aspirations”.

John Dramani Mahama made this statement at the inauguration of the NDC’s manifesto committee in Accra on Wednesday.

The former president is seeking to be re-elected as the President of Ghana in the 2020 elections as he woefully lost to the incumbent government during the 2016 elections.
