I don’t fear anything in this world; I’ll ‘fire’ you more!- Sammy Gyamfi to Akufo-Addo

National Communication Officer of the opposition National Democratic Congress Sammy Gyamfi has said the word ‘fear’ does not exist in his life and despite his arrest, Akufo-Addo should expect his “family and friends nepotism and corruption” to be exposed more.

According to Sammy Gyamfi, the only thing that can stop him from criticizing the government of President Akufo-Addo is death and not arrests or intimidation.

He was speaking on Asempa FM monitored by MyNewsGH.com on Monday evening following his release from the Criminal Investigations Department headquarters in Accra.

“Some of us our fear files were deleted long ago. I am saying that what people call fear, it doesn’t exist in my life. Some of us it was deleted long ago when we were children so if anyone thinks they are going to cow me into silence, they are joking.” He said.

Sammy Gyamfi said while he is a law-abiding citizen, he knows he committed no crime and will fight the attempt to use the police for political agenda.

“I’m not a criminal…I have never committed a crime; no amount of concocted and fabricated stories from the Flagstaff House can intimidate me or silence me” he added.

The police obtained warrants from the Court to arrest and interrogate the NDC Communicator, for his alleged involvement in forgery and attempts to spread false information to cause fear and panic in the country of kidnapping and causing unlawful damage.

He was arrested after a discussion on Accra-based UTV Monday. After several hours of interrogation, the police granted him bail. He is to report on Monday at 2pm for further investigation.
