How to Purchase University of Ghana Application Voucher via MTN USSD

The management of the University of Ghana (UG), Legon has released the steps for prospective applicants to purchase UG application voucher. However, this process is open only to MTN subscribers, hopefully, it will be open to other networks.

  1. Dial *700*88#
  2. Enter the Name or Alias of the institution, that is; University of Ghana or UG
  3. Enter 1 to confirm payment
  4. Wait for a bill prompt
  5. Enter your Mobile Money PIN to authorize payment
  6. User receives SMS confirmation containing the Voucher name, serial number, and PIN.

In a situation where customers have not received an SMS containing the voucher details after some period of successfully completing the transaction,
They can retrieve the vouchers using the following steps:

How to Retrieve voucher

  1. Dial *700*88#
  2. Select “Yes”
  3. Select “Retrieve voucher”
  4. The details of the voucher are displayed (Voucher name, serial number, and pin)
