Goldsmith in Trouble After Dating Woman Believed to Be Reincarnated — Family Unable to Trace Her Roots; A young goldsmith operating at Dr Mensah in Kumasi is grappling with confusion and fear after the sudden death of his girlfriend, Akosua Rebbeca, also known as Priscilla, who some believe may have been reincarnated.
Speaking on Oyerepa Afutuo with Auntie Naa, the man revealed that he met Rebbeca in May 2024 at Kejetia. She worked as a trader, and the two quickly fell in love, eventually moving in together.
He said he had plans to marry her but could never get a clear answer about her hometown—she only said she was from Accra.
Last week, Rebbeca fell ill and was taken to Manhyia Hospital, where she died after a brief illness. Strangely, three days before her passing, she deleted all content from her phone and withdrew all funds from her bank account. Even her banking details were incomplete, making it impossible to trace her identity.
The man reported the incident to the police and was briefly detained before being granted bail. Attempts by both his family and the police to contact the deceased’s relatives have been unsuccessful.
Some callers on the radio program speculated that the woman may have been a reincarnated spirit, sent to fulfill a purpose before returning to the afterlife.
Her remains are currently at the morgue, as authorities seek answers to the bizarre case.
