Ghanaian Celebrities and their academic qualifications

Considering the way this life is unpredictable, it is no news that most of these our celebs have their degrees to perhaps, serve as their back up plans if they ever decide to stop being in the entertainment industry.

Perhaps, considering our African setting, they were forced to just complete the University even though they do not necessarily need it in the career they wished to purchase.

No matter the case, they still went and obtained their degrees. Check out the degree your favourite celeb bagged.

 

1.Joselyn Dumas

Dumas was born in France and spent her early childhood in  Ghana. She had her basic education at Morning Star School and proceeded to the Archbishop Porter Girls High School where she became the Entertainment Prefect. Joselyn furthered her studies in the United States where she studied to earn a Degree in Administrative Law.

 

2. M.anifest

M.anifest attended University of Ghana Primary School and continued to SOS Hermann Gmeiner College in Tema. Later migrated to the Twin Cities (Minneapolis-St Paul) in 2001 to attend Macalester College where he graduated in 2005 with a BA in economics.

3. Sandra Ankobia

Sandra studied International and Commercial Law, with a specialty in World Trade, from the University of Buckingham (LLB, LLM) between 2005 and 2009. She returned to Ghana and studied at the Ghana School of Law from 2010 to 2012. In 2013, she became a Barrister at Law

 

4. Flowking Stone

He studied in the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and after a few years of practising as a BioChem engineer, he quit in order to have much time for music.

 

5. Becca

She attended Croydon College. After graduating from Croydon College, she became a child care and education worker.

 

6. Eazzy

Eazzy first attended the Institute of Professional Studies in Ghana, before later joining the Chartered Institute of Marketing in England where she also studied French and Spanish.

Also, she had a post-graduate certificate in marketing from (CIM-UK), Birmingham, England, where she graduated in 2008.

 

7. Kaakie

Kaakie had her basic education at St. Martin De Porres Basic School in Dansoman, she continued to Achimota School where she was a member of the Scripture Union.

Kaakie holds a BSc Midwifery degree from the University of Ghana.

She earned her Masters Degree from the Anglia Ruskin University in 2019.

 

8.Shatta Wale

His musical career began during his high school days at the Winneba Secondary School where he learned to play keyboard and received routine vocal training at the school’s music class department, then known as Doggy.

After secondary school, he took time to work on his music.

 

9. Berla Mundi

 

She obtained a First Class Degree in Linguistics and Psychology from the University of Ghana and a French Certificate from Alliance Française.

 

10. Moesha Boduong

 

She holds a degree in Theatre Arts from the University of Ghana.

 

11. Yvonne Nelson

She started her education at St. Martin De Porres School in Accra and later went to Aggrey Memorial Senior High School.

She had her tertiary education at Zenith University College and Central University, where she did a degree course in human resource management.
