Former NPP Chairman Paul Afoko and Kojo Mpiani Congratulate Dr Mahamudu Bawumia

Former National Chairman of the New Patriotic Party, Paul Afoko, and former Chief of Staff, Kojo Mpiani, have extended their congratulations to Mahamudu Bawumia.

A Facebook post circulating online indicated that Mr Afoko and Mr Mpiani were present to personally congratulate Dr Bawumia. The post was accompanied by a group photograph taken during the visit.

The meeting is being viewed by political observers as a notable moment, given Mr Afoko’s past role as National Chairman of the NPP and Mr Mpiani’s longstanding influence within the party and government circles. Their gesture of congratulations signals continued engagement among leading figures within the party.

Dr Bawumia, who has played a key role in Ghana’s economic management and digitalisation drive in recent years, continues to receive support and goodwill messages from party stalwarts and supporters across the country.

Further details regarding the discussions held during the visit have not yet been made public.
