First Photo and Video from wedding of NDC’s Chief Biney and NPP’s Afia Akoto pop up online

The plush wedding between National Democratic Congress’ deputy National Organizer Chief Biney and deputy director of MASLOC who is affiliated to the New Patriotic Party is currently ongoing.

The February 12, 2020 marriage ceremony between the political opponents has garnered a lot of attention on social media.

Ghana News Punch has sighted the very first video and photo from the political wedding and it speaks of power and class.

In the video sighted, the bridesmaids of Afia Akoto were seen in a joyous mood as they posed for the cameras and expressed their excitement.

They were clad in regal clothing and complimented their looks with makeup and gele headgear.

The photo sighted by Ghana News Punch showed the traditional marriage wehere the family of Alberta Afia Akoto were presented with items of the engagement list which had been neatly packaged.

Social media has been left in a state of frenzy following the release of the official photo and video from the much-talked-about union.

The ceremony is believed to have been attended by many party faithful from both the camps of the NDC and the NPP.

In a related development, Stephen Atubiga of the NDC has called on the party’s hierarchy to force the resignation of Chief Biney since he can leak classified party information to his wife, Alberta Afia Akoto.

Atubiga suggested that the opposition party exempt Biney from all important meetings so as to safeguard information from reaching the camp of the NPP.
