Ejisuman SHS has been trending in the news following the sacking of even female students from the school’s boarding house.
The sacked Ejisuman SHS girls
The seven girls namely Ruth Owusu, Samira Ibrahim, Adufa Appiah Vera, Patience Twumwaa, Osei Bonsu Juanita, Adarkwa Victoria, and Jeannine Agyapong — were sacked after a video of them went viral on social media.
The video as seen by Ghananewspunch.com had the embattled students urging other girls to engage in promiscuity.
The school, after the video went viral, deemed the students’ behaviour as inappropriate and punished them by booting them out of the boarding house.
The decision has sparked a debate. While some have supported the decision, others are criticizing the school management’s for treating the girls harshly.
