EC has released all the Pink Sheets used to declare the Presidential results

The Electoral Commission of Ghana in its pursuit to clear all doubts has released the Pink Sheets the board used to declare the 2020 presidential results.

The pink sheets which are the official documents showing the total number of votes respective candidates polled in the election has released on Wednesday, December 16, 2020, on their website.

Meanwhile, in other news, the Electoral Commission has also gazetted the 2020 Presidential election results.

This gives legal backing to the results as declared by the EC Chairperson and paves way for any person or group of persons interested in contesting it to do so at the law court, a source at the EC told the Ghana News Agency on Tuesday.

The source from the EC said the Commission was mandated by Constitutional Instrument (CI) 127, Regulation 44, Sub-regulation 11, to gazette the results, saying; “Without that, any case from a person or a group about the election results sent to court will be thrown away.”
