COVID-19: Day 2 of lockdown in Greater Accra, Kumasi (31/03/2020)

As Greater Accra, Ashanti and parts of the Central Region enter day two of the 14-day partial lockdown, a lot of people have tried to escape from the affected areas due to fear of contracting the infection. The Police and the Ghana Arm Forces have collaborated in ensuring that there is limited movement on our streets.

They have therefore seized everybody who is caught flouting the order by the president on lockdown.

It looks like a lot of Ghanaiains lack adequate information on the pandemic and so are downplaying how dangerous it really is.
