Allotey Jacobs voluntarily Withdraws from Kokrokoo Morning Show

Allotey Jacobs voluntarily Withdraws from Kokrokoo Morning Show: Former Central Regional Chairman of Nationa Democratic Congress (NDC) Bernard Allotey Jacobs has called in this morning to voluntarily withdraw from attending Peace FM’s Kokrokoo Morning Show.

Ghananewspunch.com monitored this when Mr. Allotey phoned the host of the show Chairman Kwame Sefa Kayi live to confirmed his voluntary boycott of the show.

According to Mr. Allotey Jacobs, he has thought deeply about his suspension from his party NDC and after consulting many family and friends, he has decided to stop participating in the Kokrokoo morning show  which discusses trending political news headlines until further notice. He appealed to Kwame Sefa Kayi to bear with him for his hard-made decision which he believes is in the interest of both of them.

He assured his supporters that his decision may or may not be vindicated at the end of everything.

Background of Allotey Jacobs’ suspension from NDC Party

NDC Suspends Bernard Allotey Jacobs from the party

A letter confirming the suspension of the former Central Regional Chairman of the opposition National Democratic Party (NDC) Bernard Allotey Jacobs has been sighted by Ghananewspunch.com.

The suspension letter addressed to Mr. Allotey: NDC Suspends Bernard Allotey Jacobs.

In the letter sent to Mr. Allotey and signed by the Party’s Chairman Ofosu Ampofo, it states; “the Functional Executive Committee which acted on behalf of the party’s National Executive Committee at its meeting held on Wednesday the 6th day of May 2020, has suspend you forthwith as member of the party pursuant to Articles 46(1), 46(6), and 46(8)(b) of the Party’s constitution for your persistent anti-party conduct.”

The letter further stated that the matter has been referred to the Party’s Disciplinary Committee for further actions.

This latest development is of no surprise to most Ghanaians as it’s obvious that Chairman Allotey Jacobs and the Communication unit of the country’s biggest opposition party have not been in good terms since last year.

This whole internal stiffness began when a ‘phone text message’ from the Party’s Communication Officer Sammy Gyamfi was sent to Mr. Allotey barring him from representing the party on any media platform in the country. The text message made it clear that Mr. Allotey no longer speaks for the party on any media platform.

This irritated Mr. Allotey and he took a stance not to defend the party in any social discussions.

He’s been heard on several occasions vowing to deal with the Party’s communication Officer Sammy Gyamfi at the right time. Well, we are not quite sure of the deep secrets that have been making him vow in dealing with Sammy Gyamfi. Time will sure tell its own story.
