Akwasi Agyeman former KMA Mayor is dead

Former Chief Executive of the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA) Nana Akwasi Agyeman has died, Starr News has learnt.

The popular royal cum politician died at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital where he was receiving medical attention.

He died Tuesday morning.

Mr. Akwasi Agyemang who was a member of the PNDC is deemed to be one of the most effective chief executives of the KMA.

Also known as ‘Okumkɔm’, Nana Akwasi served as Kumasi Mayor for over 20 years, under various governments of the NRC, SMC I and II, PNP and (P) NDC regimes.
