Akamba demands arrest and prosecution of DCOP Maame Tiwaa

National Democratic Congress (NDC) National Organiser, Joshua Hamidu Akamba, is calling for the arrest and prosecution of CID Boss, DCOP Maame Tiwaa Addo-Danquah (Mrs.) following the DNA test that confirmed the death of the missing Takoradi girls as presented by the acting IGP, James Oppong-Boanuh.

According to Joshua Akamba, he does not believe the missing girls are dead since the Director-General of CID revealed that they are safe.

He indicated that if current happenings are to the contrary, she should immediately be arrested, interrogated and prosecute.

Joshua Akamba revealed to the host Nana Kwabena Addo that the nation is not serious just as the president is not serious.

“Any serious country with a serious president will by now arrest Tiwaa, interrogate her and prosecute her. But we don’t have a serious president”, Akamba said.

He lamented that without this, the citizens are gradually losing the trust and confidence they have in the police service and argued the CID boss should not be in power by now.

Following police confirmation of the death of the missing Takoradi girls, a cross-section of Ghanaians including civil servants, politicians like Kennedy Ohene Agyapong the Assin Central parliamentarian have been calling for the head of CID boss.
