Agya Koo Is Far More Popular Than John Dumelo In Ghana – Catherine Afeku

[dropcap]T[/dropcap]he Minister for Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts, Catherine Afeku, is reported to have claimed that veteran Ghanaian actor, Agya Koo, is more popular than John Dumelo.

In a report by Attractive Mustapha, she stated that statistics available to the ministry has led it to draw such conclusions.

Agya Koo has been chosen as number one, she said, because a scientific survey conducted by the ministry indicated that he is the topmost local actor.

She went on to say that both online and stratified sampling were considered in their research methodology.

The minister made this statement during the launch of Agya Koo TV at the Accra Mall on Sunday February 4, 2018. She is reported to have added that there are plans to outdoor Apps for Daddy Lumba, Kojo Antwi, Jackie Appiah, Lil Win and other artistes.

When her attention was drawn to the fact that John Dumelo has the largest number of followers online, the Minister explained that Agya Koo is more popular than John Dumelo because people in the rural areas know Agya Koo but do not know John Dumelo.
