Accra International Conference Center (AICC)

The Accra International Conference Center was built in 1991 to host the Tenth Ministerial Meeting of the Non-Aligned Movement. It has since hosted major conferences and summits by U.N. organisations, such as the World Health Organisation, the Food and Agriculture Organisation, as well as regional organisations such as ECOWAS.

The Accra International Conference Centre, (AICC), has six conference halls. These are; the Main Hall or Conference Auditorium, two committee Halls, three Meeting Rooms, and a Foyer.

AICC – Main Hall

Accra International Conference Centre is a famous meeting venue located in the Christiansborg district. The centre was founded in 1991 and was built in modern style. It has six halls with a total capacity of 6000 people; the largest hall seats 1600 people.

All the halls have modern equipment. Accra International Conference Centre hosts the most significant national and international events such as beauty peagants, live concerts and other events.

The main Auditorium provides seating or up to 1,800 people. The gallery has 132 seats, whiles 182 seats have been reserved for the press. The multi-purpose hall can also be used for musical shows, concerts, lectures, theatrical performances, and other public events.
